Natural Numbers Ch. 2

Natural numbers are ordinary counting numbers. This means that their any positive number such as 40,67,8, e.t.c.

0 IS NOT A NATURAL NUMBER !!!!

The set of natural numbers is infinite

   ex. N = {1,2,3,4,5,6,7...}

Natural numbers are split into both odd + even numbers.

Odd Natural Number: A number that is not divisible by two.

Even Natural Number: A number that is divisible by two.


Consecutive Natural Number: Na. number that differs by 1. ex. 87 & 88.

Consecutive Even Natural Number: Even na. number that differs by 2. ex. 64 & 66.

Consecutive Odd Natural Number: Odd na. number that differs by 2. ex. 79, 81, 83.
